On 6 August, Mežaparks Great Bandstand will transform into an electrifying epicentre of electronic music as one of the world’s most popular DJs and producers, Calvin Harris, performs his only show in the Baltics this summer. It has now been revealed that the artist will bring a truly spectacular production to Riga, featuring nearly every major visual effect currently used in the world’s biggest live shows.

While some may think of it as simply a DJ show, Calvin Harris will arrive in Riga with a touring crew of more than 30 people. His stage production will feature an unprecedented number of lasers and lighting effects, impressive pyrotechnics and special effects, as well as a unique video and light show.

According to the organisers, the Calvin Harris show in Riga will be one of the most ambitious electronic music events ever staged in the Baltics in terms of its technical scale and visual production. Extensive concert infrastructure will be constructed throughout the Mežaparks Great Bandstand grounds, allowing thousands of visitors to enjoy a complete world-class festival experience in the heart of Riga.

The evening at Mežaparks Great Bandstand will also feature American house music legend MK and Syn Cole, one of the most internationally recognised electronic music artists from the Baltics. Together, they will deliver several hours of dance music, culminating in a headline performance by Calvin Harris featuring his biggest hits.

Tickets for Calvin Harris at Mežaparks Great Bandstand on 6 August are available through the Biļešu Serviss ticketing network.

Due to the high level of interest in the event, the organisers strongly advise against purchasing tickets through classified advertisements, social media or other unverified sellers, as there is a significant risk of receiving counterfeit or invalid tickets. All tickets will be electronically scanned at the entrance, allowing invalid tickets to be identified immediately.

The event is supported by Riga City Council and the Riga Investment and Tourism Agency.
