Ticket prices to “Metallica” shows in Riga are now announced

Tickets to “Metallica” shows will be available starting from Monday, 7th December, at 10.00 AM from www.ticketpro.lv as well as at "Biļešu paradīze" pay-offices. “Metallica” is going to play two shows at “Arena Riga” – on April 17 and 18, 2010. The band will be performing on 360 degrees stage so that spectators could observe the show from all the angles possible. Standing ticket price will be Ls 30. Seated tickets – from Ls 40 to Ls 50, depending on distance to stage.

Concert agency "FBI" informs: the British band’s Depeche Mode open-air concert yet won’t take place in Latvia this year. We remind that due to the band’s leader Dave Gahan’s illness the concert scheduled on May 25, in Skonto stadium was cancelled. Even though the effort was made to find ways in order to reschedule dates for concerts in 8 countries, among them in Latvia, the band’s representatives had to make a decision to cancel these concerts regardless of spectacular sales ratios. Reason for the concert cancellation is Depeche Mode’s tight tour schedule for this year, which unfortunately doesn’t allow any more changes.

"Depeche Mode" to restart "Tour Of The Universe" in Germany - First concert June 8th in Leipzig

Due to "Depeche Mode" lead singer’s Dave Gahan’s illness there were 16 tour concerts cancelled. Every effort continues to be made to reschedule these cancelled concerts and more time is needed to gather information on availability of the potential concert venues and to set the new dates for the concerts. A final decision is expected next week, at which time a statement will be made with regards to either a rescheduled Riga concert date or final cancellation. Ticket holders are encouraged to hold onto their tickets until further announcements will be made. With respect of the announcement of the new concert date for Riga, ticket holders will be able to return their tickets starting from this year’s June 15. Further details on ticket refunding places and order will be announced on or before June 15.
